Job summary

DiverseJobsMatter is recruiting for a Paralegal Team Leader to manage and develop a team within a busy Disputes practice. The role is based in Leeds or Manchester, combining people leadership with legal operations management and project delivery.

You will oversee allocation of disputes work, monitor performance and work closely with lawyers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery across UK offices, with some travel to other offices as required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, developing and coaching a team of paralegals and junior professionals.
• Strong ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities in a disputes practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior legal professionals.
• Proactive, collaborative approach focused on delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Paralegals and Legal Apprentices.
• Manage resource allocation and workloads to meet client and business needs.
• Oversee delivery of disputes-related work with quality assurance and supervision.
• Coordinate significant fee-earning projects and act as a point of contact for stakeholders.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans.
