Job summary

Global Credit Union is seeking a Dispute Resolution Specialist to assist members with fraudulent and merchant dispute transactions on Debit Card, Credit Card and ACH. You will research cases, communicate clearly with members, and work to resolve disputes in line with federal rules and NACHA/VISA operating standards.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, prompt responses, and escalation when needed. A background in financial operations and a service-oriented mindset is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be articulate and communicate with patience and empathy via telephone.
• Detail-oriented writing skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
• One year of experience in a similar position or financial operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable member service.
• Develop knowledge of card and ACH dispute processes and systems.
• Research and resolve card and ACH dispute cases per regulations and policies.
• Evaluate cases for provisional credit within established limits.
• Communicate with members to validate information and document findings.
• Respond to inbound and place outbound calls for case creation and follow-up.
• Document research findings and refer suspicious activity for review.
