Job summary

G2 Legal is partnering with a highly regarded specialist law firm in Manchester to recruit a Dispute Resolution Solicitor. The role covers disputes and regulatory matters in the sports and media sectors, handling commercial litigation and advising on disciplinary issues.

You will join an established team of contentious lawyers, supporting business development and helping grow the firm’s disputes practice. NQ–4 PQE candidates are considered with a commercial mindset and strong communication

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
• Strong academics and excellent communication.
• Experience within Dispute Resolution / Commercial Litigation.
• Interest in sports, media or regulatory work.
• Sports and media experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A commercial and entrepreneurial approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends where required.

Responsibilities

• Advise on disputes and regulatory matters in the sports sector.
• Handle commercial litigation including media disputes.
• Advise on disciplinary and regulatory investigations.
• Work with sporting bodies and dispute resolution forums.
• Support business development and help develop the firm’s disputes practice.
