Bromleys Solicitors LLP is seeking a skilled Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Litigator to join the team in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role involves managing a varied caseload for corporate and individual clients, covering professional negligence, property litigation, and employment matters.

The successful candidate will work alongside current team members and contribute to business development within the dispute resolution practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 4-7+ years PQE.
• Experience handling a varied caseload for corporate and individual clients.
• Strong attention to detail and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage own varied caseload including professional negligence and property litigation.
• Advise on debt recovery, insolvency and contentious probate matters.
• Handle employment law issues including Employment Tribunal claims and settlements.
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s dispute resolution offering.

Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Litigator

PQE level:

4-7 plus years PQE

(Strong candidates with slightly less experience may be considered)

Requirements and details of the role:

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Litigator to join our Dispute Resolution team.

The successful candidate will work alongside existing members of the team and will act for a solid client base, including corporate and individual clients, and will be responsible for managing their own varied case load, which will include:-

• Professional negligence matters
• Neighbour and boundary disputes
• Debt recovery and insolvency matters
• Contentious probate, including challenges to the validity of a Will and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
• Property litigation, including possession and dilapidation claims, both residential and commercial
• Employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims, settlement agreements and noncontentious advisory work
• Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims

The role will also involve:

• Developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Providing support and advice to colleagues within the firm on litigation matters
• Taking part in the growth and development of the firm’s dispute resolution and business legal offering
• Assisting with the firm’s Legal Surgery sessions in relation to litigation enquiries

Candidates with a purely process‑driven PI or RTA litigation background are not sought.
