Job summary

Honeycomb is partnering with a Belfast law firm to recruit a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their Dispute Resolution team. You will provide legal and administrative support across a varied caseload, assisting with case preparation and the day-to-day progression of legal matters.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Paralegal or Legal Assistant with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Experience in dispute resolution or litigation is advantageous.
• Good understanding of legal procedures and document preparation.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support to solicitors within the Dispute Resolution team.
• Assisting with the management and progression of dispute resolution files.
• Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence and court papers.
• Supporting the preparation of legal briefs, court bundles and case documentation.
• Assisting with affidavits, disclosure and document discovery where required.
• Maintaining accurate client files and updating case management systems.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, counsel, courts and other external parties.
• Monitoring court dates, deadlines and key case milestones.
• Organising and reviewing documentation relevant to ongoing cases.
• Handling confidential client information with professionalism and discretion.
• Providing wider legal support to the team as required.
