Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for their established practice in Sidcup.

This role involves working Monday, Tuesday and Saturday with an optional extra day. The practice offers 45-minute eye examinations and modern diagnostic equipment to support personalised eyewear recommendations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician with GOC registration and FBDO preferred.
• Experience dispensing, fitting and advising on frames, lenses and optical solutions.
• Patient-focused with high standards of service and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, fit and adjust a wide range of spectacles.
• Provide expert advice based on patient needs and lifestyle.
• Support patients with contact lens handling where required.
• Deliver a high standard of service throughout the patient journey.

Salary: Circa £35,000 per Annum
Hours: 3 or 4 Days per Week | Monday, Tuesday and Saturday Required

Dispensing Optician vacancies in Sidcup.Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for their established practice in Sidcup.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team with a strong focus on providing personalised eye care and exceptional service.The practice offers 45-minute eye examinations, allowing the team plenty of time to understand each patient's individual needs and recommend the most suitable eyewear and lens solutions.

The successful Dispensing Optician will work Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, with the option to work an additional fourth day.The extra day can be discussed to suit both the successful candidate and the practice.

Dispensing Optician - Role

• Independent opticians with a strong focus on patient care
• Established practice serving Sidcup and the surrounding communities
• Work within a supportive and collaborative team
• 45-minute eye examinations
• Access to modern diagnostic equipment and the latest optical technology
• Wide choice of spectacle lenses, contact lenses and frame collections
• Provide expert advice based on each patient's needs and lifestyle
• Dispense, fit and adjust a wide range of spectacles
• Support patients with contact lens handling where required
• Deliver a high standard of service throughout every stage of the patient journey
• Part-time permanent position
• Three or four days per week
• Monday, Tuesday and Saturday are required
• Additional fourth day to be agreed
• Practice hours from 9am to 5:30pm

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician
• Registered with the GOC
• FBDO qualification
• Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
