Our store

Specsavers Colwyn Bay/Rhyl in North Wales is looking for a Dispensing Optician to join their wonderful team. We have been serving our community for 18 years and are dedicated to ensuring that every customer receives an excellent patient experience. If you are a Dispensing Optician ready to use your passion and knowledge to help us build on our growing and loyal customer base, we would love to hear from you.

We offer flexibility with full-time and part-time options and are open to different working patterns that suit you. We can also provide full-time hours across 4 days to promote a better work-life balance. Our store is fully equipped with 5 test rooms, the latest clinical technology (including OCT), and a team of 28, including fully trained optical assistants, so you can focus on what you do best.

Located on the north coast of Wales overlooking the Irish Sea, Colwyn Bay is a seaside resort in Conwy County Borough, about 40 minutes from Chester. Although historically part of Denbighshire, it has grown into the second-largest community in northern Wales and the 14th largest in the country. Our store is conveniently located near the train station and off the A55, making it easily accessible from Chester to Bangor and beyond.
