Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified level 2 dispenser from a pharmacy or GP dispensary setting.
• Experienced in auditing and following up on medical orders.
• Ability to work under high standards and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions (acute or repeat) for patients.
• Ensure orders are followed up and audits are completed.
• Liaise with pharmacists and GPs for patient safety.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified level 2 dispenser to join our Surgery Dispensary team to cover maternity leave Starting in August 2025.

This is to ensure full cover is provided to ensure our patients receive a quality service.

Main duties of the job

The duties of a dispenser are as follows:

Dispensing any prescriptions acute or repeats

Following the training provided and meeting high standardds

Liasing with pharmacists and GPs

Ensuring orders are followed up

Using the System 1 computer system

receiveing and putting away of orders

Ensuring weekly and monthly audits / checks are completed

About us

The Parks Medical Practice is made up of 4 sites: Roade, Blisworth, Grange Park and Hanslope. We have recently partnered with Danes Camp Medical Centre and Rillwood Surgery.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified level 2 dispenser from either Pharmacy setting or GP dispensary setting.

We have senior dispensers who provide the support or training that is needed
