The NHS is seeking a qualified Dispenser to join its friendly team in Cropwell Bishop, working 20 hours per week. This role includes dispensing medication under the supervision of GPs and leading pharmacy staff, offering a supportive work environment.

JobSummary
To dispense prescription medication and othermedical products to BHG patients under the supervision of the practice GPs andDispensary team leader following the practices SOPs.
Duties andResponsibilities
Tolabel, dispense and issue prescriptions, including compiling dosettes, to BHGpatients in accordance with the SOPs, so to ensure patients safely andaccurately receive their medication.
Totake all prescription requests and issue prescriptions via System One for allBHG patients following the BHG SOPs.
Toorder and take delivery of stock while efficiently preforming stock controlincluding date checking all medicines, balance checking Controlled Drugsregister and safe disposal of all returned and out of date medicines, followingBHG SOPs.
Toendorse all prescriptions correctly and then collate and forward theprescriptions, following BHG SOPs, to the PPA securely so that they can beprocessed and reimbursed.
Tomaintain a clean and tidy work environment and follow daily infection controlmeasures as detailed in BHG SOPs. Also you will need to keep health and safetytraining up to date via Bluestream and follow at all times, for exampleinformation governance and data protection.
Todeliver high levels of customer service at all times, ensuring BHG patientsalways have their needs tended to in a discreet and confidential manor.
