Job summary

Suffolk LMC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to take on the role of Dispensary Manager for Framlingham Surgery, with some duties at Earl Soham. You will oversee day‑to‑day dispensary operations, ensuring safety, accuracy and smooth workflows across two sites.

You will manage a dispensary team, monitor stock levels and standards, and support broader pharmacy activities by addressing patient queries and liaising with GPs and practice staff. Experience with controlled drugs and DSQS is important.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC and Level 3 qualification.
• Experience in a dispensary environment, ideally in general practice or primary care.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, able to manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensary operations across Framlingham and Earl Soham sites.
• Manage the dispensary team, workflows, stock and standards to ensure safe dispensing.
• Resolve patient and prescription queries, collaborating with GPs and practice staff.
• Lead on controlled drugs and DSQS; be the main point of contact for dispensary matters.
