Job summary

You will supervise dispensing activities, support service development, and maintain compliance with pharmaceutical governance.

The successful candidate will oversee the RTM system, collaborate with IT/Automation, and drive ongoing improvements in practice within a large NHS Trust.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) status is required.
• Educational supervisor for ACPT is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day work of the Dispensary Team as directed by the Principal Technician.
• Prioritise workload and allocate staff across dispensary areas to meet service demands.
• Promote a positive team approach and deliver high-quality pharmacy services.
• Oversee the electronic Controlled Drug management system as system manager.
• Support IT/Automation with Prescription Tracking System issues and robot maintenance.
