Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited in Lincoln is seeking a Dispatch Operator to manage goods inwards and outwards, coordinate transport, and support accurate documentation. You will be responsible for booking transport for collection and dispatch, and for data entry related to customer purchase orders.

The role requires practical warehouse experience, the ability to work quickly and methodically, strong communication skills, and a careful eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/administrative experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically with repetitive tasks.
• Demonstrated safety, quality and productivity awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift license is desirable; not always required.
• Good attention to detail and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods inwards/outwards and imports/exports.
• Book and arrange transport for collection and dispatch.
• Operate forklifts and pedestrian forklift as required.
• Coordinate the dispatch area and load/offload vehicles.
• Check paperwork and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Perform manual handling of boxes and packing of parts.
• Data entry for customer purchase orders.
• Transport interdepartmental parts as needed.
