Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Dispatch Operative in Stonehouse to join the Dispatch Team. You will predominantly pick and pack customer orders, attach shipping documents, and palletise for carrier collection.

You’ll also book into the IT system, verify orders, complete dispatch paperwork, and uphold SOPs with clear communication and attention to detail. Daily duties include packing, checking orders for accuracy, and reporting discrepancies to the dispatch supervisor.

• Knowledge and basic user of Microsoft Office tools (SAP would be an advantage).
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily picking & packing of customer orders.
• Putting away in set locations and booking onto IT system.
• Checking customer orders with accuracy and reporting errors.
• Completing dispatch paperwork to correct standards.
• Ensuring all processes follow standard operating procedures.
• Raise any non-conformities and action accordingly.

Role Dispatch Operative
Based Stonehouse GL10
Rate £15.17 + holidays (33 – 25days + 8BH)
Duration 12months+
Attendance Bonus – £150 a quarter for full attendance (£600 annually)

Our client is seeking an experienced Dispatch Operative to work as a member of the Dispatch Team primarily responsible for Picking & Packing of customer orders and attaching all associated shipping documentation & palletising in ready for carrier collection.
Main Responsibilities of the Dispatch Operative
Daily Picking & packing of customer Orders
Putting away in set locations and booking onto IT system
Checking customer orders, with accuracy and reporting any errors to dispatch supervisor.
Completing all dispatch paperwork to correct standards.
To ensure that all processes are carried in line with standard operating procedures.
Good, effective communications, raise any non-conformities are actioned
Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team.
