The Best Connection Group in Buxton is recruiting a Dispatch Operative for a well-established manufacturer. This long-term role offers full training, a supportive team environment, and real opportunities to progress your career.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm (40 hours per week). Starting rate is £13.50 per hour with weekly pay. You will book out deliveries, plan warehouse workload, liaise with hauliers and may operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• FLT experience is required.
• Reliable and punctual to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Book out daily deliveries using online booking systems and create delivery/collection notes.
• Plan workload for warehouse staff based on delivery requirements.
• Liaise with hauliers to arrange special vehicles.
• Forklift operation may be required.
• Carry out other general duties as and when required.

What You'll Be Doing

Booking out daily deliveries using various online booking systems with haulage companies and producing delivery and collection notes

Planning of workload for the warehouse staff dependant on delivery requirements

Liaising with Hauliers to arrange special requirement vehicles

Some Fork lift operating may be required

Other general duties as and when required
