Wellcome Trust seeks a Strategy Lead, Discovery for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on refining the Discovery strategy, aligning work with board objectives and organisational goals, and translating insights into actionable plans.

You will collaborate with executives, SLT, and cross-functional teams to deliver an evidence-based strategy and enable smooth implementation. The role requires senior strategic capability, experience in complex organisations, and the ability to

Formación

Significant experience in developing strategy within large organisations.
Experience synthesising quantitative and qualitative evidence to inform planning.
Experience producing high-quality written materials for senior audiences.

Responsabilidades

Lead the refinement of Discovery's strategy aligned with organisational objectives and Board readiness.
Develop strategic content including theories of change and impact measures.
Synthesize evidence from stakeholders to inform strategic planning.
Produce papers and recommendations for Executive and Board discussions.
Develop partnerships across Discovery and Wellcome to inform implementation planning.
Support transition from strategy development to implementation within the department.
