Main duties of the job

• Independently assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients
• Assume responsibility for individual clinical areas within the unit
• Maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to individual clinical area
• Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring and teaching
• Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Discharge Lounge
• To follow trust guidance regarding safeguarding
