  • Managing a caseload of grant applications, including joint feasibility visits, site inspections, measuring, recording, and overseeing contractors’ work to ensure compliance with instructions from Occupational Therapists and safety standards.
  • Participating in decisions such as initiating corrective actions, advising on design aspects during adaptations, specifying materials, and enforcing health and safety protocols.
  • Inspecting and signing off on work undertaken in private homes, housing associations, external works, or building sites.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring quality standards, managing risks, and providing guidance to team members and clients.

What you’ll need:
  • Practical knowledge of building regulations, health & safety, and experience in building maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize tasks logically, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels.
