Job summary

Leyton-based Project Worker role at Lloyd's Register International supports people with disabilities to build independence and reach their potential. You will provide one-to-one support, assess needs, and contribute to safety planning and ongoing reviews.

The role emphasizes compassionate, community-focused care with opportunities for training, career development, and a contributory pension. 37 hours per week at £13.87 per hour, with flexible arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with disabilities or high needs.
• Empathetic, able to relate to people with diverse needs.
• Capable of working under pressure and maintaining accurate records.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with learning and physical disabilities to build independence.
• Provide one-to-one support when needed.
• Promote safety through risk assessments and regular reviews.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Deliver small group activities to aid recovery and wellbeing.
