Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a part-time Support Assistant at Shaftesbury Court, Manor Close, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 9HN. You will provide hands-on, high-quality support to help residents achieve daily living skills and social inclusion.

The role requires compassionate teamwork, accurate record-keeping, and good communication with customers, families and partner agencies. NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to study is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, families and agencies
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion in care settings

Responsibilities

• Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
• Encourage customers to develop daily living skills
• Promote social inclusion and help customers build confidence and self-esteem
• Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and advocacy
• Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices
