Job summary

The University of Winchester is seeking a Disability Adviser to join the Disability and Inclusion Team on a 2.5-day week. You will provide information, advice and guidance to students, academic staff and applicants with disabilities, supporting Learning Agreements and DSAs under the Equality Act 2010.

You will work with Student Support and Success colleagues and external stakeholders to improve accessibility and ensure compliant practices, with hybrid working options and a generous benefits

Qualifications

• Provide information, advice and guidance to students, academic staff, professional staff and applicants with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess student support requirements and draw up Learning Agreements.
• Support students to apply for and implement the Disabled Student Allowance (DSA).
• Contribute to improving accessibility and ensure Equality Act 2010 compliance.
