Job summary

Everpool Recruitment seeks a PIP Functional Assessor in Cambridge. This hybrid role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, offering a £40,000-£42,000 salary. You’ll use clinical knowledge to assess daily living and mobility without providing treatment.

No prior Functional Assessor experience is required; full training is provided and you'll receive performance bonuses and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration is required.
• Minimum 12 months post-registration clinical experience.
• Proven ability to assess, document and report clearly.

PIP Functional Assessor | Cambridge | Hybrid | Monday-Friday | £40,000-£42,000

Keep your clinical skills. Lose the traditional shift pattern.

As a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll use your healthcare experience in a different way, carrying out consultations to understand how a person's health condition or disability affects their daily living and mobility. Rather than providing treatment, you'll use your clinical knowledge, assessment skills and professional judgement to gather information and produce clear, evidence-based reports.

No previous Functional Assessor experience? No problem. Full training is provided.

You'll speak with individuals living with a variety of physical and mental health conditions, exploring how these affect their ability to complete everyday activities, maintain independence and manage their mobility.You'll combine information gathered during the assessment with available medical evidence, applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to produce an accurate, objective and evidence-based clinical report.
