Once you have completed our unique training program, you will use your skills as a healthcare professional to assess cases of people who are applying for a PIP or WCA benefit and complete fair and accurate reports as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Our roles offer you the chance to change direction whilst providing you with the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills and knowledge, and work within a structure Monday - Friday contract.
There are lots of opportunities for development and progression within the PFAS team including Clinical coaching, training roles and Clinical Support Manager roles.
Position:
As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. By completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means you will assess how our claimant’s disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.
Salary: £39,500
Type: Permanent (Hybrid)
Full time: 37.5 hours (9am - 5pm/Monday - Friday)
With proven experience of working within a medical background you will;
