Job description

As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. By completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means, you will assess how our claimant’s disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased, and reassuring manner.

Salary: £39,500.00

Type: Permanent

Full time: 37.5 hours

With proven experience of working within a medical background you will:

  1. Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
  2. Interpret clinical information and evidence.
  3. Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
  4. Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
