Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional (nurse, physiotherapist, paramedic, or occupational therapist).
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience.
• Skills in communication and IT required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 3-4 client assessments per day, via telephone, video, or face-to-face.
• Gather information and produce factual reports for DWP.
• Collaborate with clients to understand impacts of their conditions.

Job description

What does the role involve?

The role will involve you carrying out 3-4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

• An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
