Kraken Technology Group Limited is seeking a Director UK & Nordics to drive sustainable growth across the United Kingdom and Nordic region. You will lead regional business development, secure major defence and government programmes, and manage a high-performing commercial team.

You will build trusted relationships with defence ministries, primes, OEMs and partners, ensuring Kraken capabilities meet market needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading business development activities within defence/security/m maritime or related tech sectors.
• Demonstrable track record of achieving significant revenue growth and securing major contracts.
• Experience managing and developing business development, sales or commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and public-sector contracting.
• Experience delivering multi-million-pound programmes and strategic partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Lead Kraken's business development strategy and execution across the UK and Nordic region, aligning with growth objectives.
• Deliver revenue, order intake and pipeline targets for the region.
• Identify, pursue and secure opportunities in defence, security, maritime and government sectors.
• Develop and execute campaign and capture plans for priority markets.
• Lead proposals, tenders, RFIs, RFQs and related commercial documentation.
• Coordinate internal resources to translate customer requirements into technical and commercial solutions.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers across government and industry.
• Mentor and develop commercial staff; monitor governance, forecasting and reporting to executives.
• Represent Kraken at defence exhibitions, conferences and partner forums.
• Travel extensively to support regional growth and international opportunities.
