Job description

Job Overview

Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Direct, supervise, and manage project(s) and/or multi-project programs, ensuring the quality of deliverables on time and within budget. Have strategic decision-making responsibility for the project/program. Ensure all work complies with SOPs, policies, and practices.

Essential Functions

1. Manage the scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities for the project(s) and/or multi-project program(s).
2. Serve as the primary project contact with internal and external customers to maintain effective communication channels and adhere to reporting schedules.
3. Develop project plans for all phases and associated deliverables.
4. Collaborate with Business Development to finalize the project budget and scope, managing budgets to meet financial and company goals, and proactively managing change control processes.
5. Supervise maintenance of project management information and data tracking systems.
6. Lead project activities for team members to ensure milestones are met.
7. Assess risk impacts and develop quality and risk management plans to minimize impacts on project objectives and deliverables.
8. Review and ensure resources are adequate to meet project milestones.
9. Implement continuous improvement strategies for assigned projects and programs.
10. Manage relationships with clients; recommend actions for customer management issues and implement approved plans.
11. Oversee financial aspects of projects to meet realization targets.
12. Ensure the quality of project deliverables for assigned clients.
13. Participate in RFP and budget development, evaluate program feasibility, and assess impact on operations and goals.
14. Contribute to sales and proposal presentations with potential clients.
15. Provide technical expertise and insights into project management to team members and training efforts.
16. Lead project management for specific clients when required, including participation in strategic committees.
17. Act as a liaison within IQVIA and other groups.
18. Manage staff according to policies, including planning, performance appraisal, professional development, rewards, discipline, and HR decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 years of related experience, including 7 years in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, influencing, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
• Proven ability to deliver results on quality and timeline metrics.
• Strong customer service skills and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
