Job Overview

Manage staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Direct, supervise, and manage project(s) and/or multi-project programs to ensure quality deliverables on time and within budget. Hold strategic decision-making responsibility for the project/program. Ensure all project work complies with SOPs, policies, and practices.

Essential Functions

1. Manage the scope, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities for the project(s) and/or multi-project program(s).
2. Serve as the primary project contact with internal and external customers to maintain effective communication and reporting.
3. Develop project plans for all phases and deliverables of the project.
4. Collaborate with Business Development to finalize the project budget and scope of work; manage budgets to meet financial and company goals, proactively adhering to change control processes.
5. Supervise the maintenance of project management information and data tracking systems.
6. Lead project activities for team members to ensure milestones are met.
7. Assess risks and develop quality and risk management plans to minimize impacts on project objectives.
8. Review resources regularly to meet project deliverables and milestones.
9. Implement continuous improvements for assigned projects and programs.
10. Manage client relationships, recommending actions and implementing plans with senior management approval.
11. Oversee financial goals for projects of assigned clients to meet company targets.
12. Ensure quality of project deliverables for assigned clients.
13. Participate in RFP and budget development; evaluate feasibility and impact of potential programs.
14. Engage in sales and proposal presentations with potential clients.
15. Provide technical expertise and training in project management to team members.
16. Lead project management efforts for specific clients, including participation in operational or steering committees.
17. Act as a liaison with other groups within IQVIA.
18. Manage staff according to policies and regulations, including planning, performance appraisal, professional development, and HR actions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 years of related experience, including 7 years in project management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to deliver results within quality and timeline metrics.
• Strong customer service and judgment skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and other relevant software.
• Ability to build effective relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
