Job Description:

Our client, a leading global advisory firm, is seeking a senior TMT focused financial due diligence professional due to growth within their Transaction Services TMT team. This team advises clients, including Corporate and Private Equity, on buy side, sell side, IPOs, and refinancing projects.

Experienced senior managers / associate directors with 3-5 years of experience at this grade will also be considered.

The role requires an individual with a vision to help grow and deliver their expanding client base. The successful candidate will apply transaction and financial due diligence skills to client opportunities. They should have:

• Specific experience in the TMT sector and large, complex transactions is highly regarded.
• Strong existing relationships with Software, Technology, and Media businesses, and trusted connections within the sector and deal community, e.g., Investment Banks, Industry Bodies.
• A proactive, autonomous approach as a “self-starter”.

Key responsibilities:

Directors are expected to lead multi-disciplinary teams, build strategic relationships, and develop the practice:

• Leading transactional engagements in dynamic environments;
• Building and maintaining client relationships, especially with senior management;
• Managing Deal Advisory relationships in the TMT sector and focusing on key opportunities;
• Managing risks and ensuring risk management frameworks are followed;
• Developing team members through coaching and skills transfer;
• Participating in career and skills development of junior staff and embodying the Firm's values;
• Overseeing performance management of junior staff.

Required skills & qualifications:

To succeed, you should demonstrate:

• A strong academic and numerate background (ACA or equivalent preferred);
• Extensive experience in financial due diligence, with a track record of driving opportunities;
• Credibility and success working with senior management and understanding industry strategies;
• Ability to develop and expand client relationships, especially new ones;
• A commercial mindset to maximize revenue;
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure autonomously;
• Strong personal impact and comfort with senior and C-suite stakeholders;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
