Job summary

Fitch Ratings in Manchester seeks a Director-level Credit Analyst for its European Structured Finance team. You will lead credit analysis on transactions backed by mortgage, consumer, or corporate loans, including CLOs, and drive rating decisions with rigorous cash-flow modelling and documentation reviews.

Qualifications

Experience in finance
Knowledge of securitisation structures, CLOs beneficial
Able to review and analyse legal contracts from credit risk perspective
Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling
Review transaction legal documents
On-site review of underwriting and servicing of originators and CLO managers
Prepare rating proposals for internal rating committees
Communicate rating rationale to investors and market participants
Engage with arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics
Assist in developing criteria and supporting research
