Job summary

Capgemini Invent in London, Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow is seeking a Strategic Workforce Planning and Workforce Management Director to lead major client engagements. You will connect business strategy with workforce demand, supply, skills, location and productivity, delivering end-to-end SWP and WFM programmes.

You’ll engage senior clients to shape, sell and deliver initiatives, build capability, and drive growth across energy, public sector, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Significant consulting or industry experience in workforce transformation.
• Proven track record selling, leading and delivering SWP/WFM programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Generate c.£2m annual consulting sales in SWP, WFM and related services through senior client relationships.
• Lead development, conversion and delivery of complex SWP/WFM programmes including strategy, demand/supply modelling and productivity roadmaps.
• Advise senior clients on workforce decisions integrating planning with operating models and location strategies.
• Provide executive leadership across engagements, delivering board-ready recommendations and measurable outcomes.
• Build and develop high-performing consulting teams and contribute to practice growth with thought leadership.
• Business Development – shape account strategies, drive growth, lead pursuits and convert SWP/WFM opportunities.
• Client Delivery – lead complex transformation programmes from diagnosis through implementation with governance.
• AI Enablement – showcase Capgemini's AI upskilling journey and AI-enabled workforce transformation capabilities.
• Internal Contribution – develop offers, methodologies, assets and recruitment activity.
• Learning & Networking – collaborate across Capgemini Invent and global teams.
