Position Overview:

We are hiring a Sales Director to lead the development of high-value strategic relationships across key verticals, such as Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Banks & EMIs, and Lending (Retail & Business).

Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this senior individual contributor role requires a commercially driven candidate capable of working across regions and functions. Your focus will be on high-potential targets and strategic partnerships aligned with Yapily's growth ambitions. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, data-informed, and fluent in Open Banking, payments, and platform-scale SaaS.

Requirements:

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Manage complex sales cycles from initiation to contract across multiple geographies and verticals.
  • Target Development: Create a targeted list of high-value prospects, including global and regional PSPs, digital banks, EMIs, and top-tier lenders.
  • Cross-Regional Coordination: Collaborate with UK and EU Sales Directors to ensure a unified go-to-market approach.
  • Vertical Expertise: Gain deep insights into verticals like iGaming or embedded lending to become a trusted advisor.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Influence stakeholders across Product, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success to articulate Yapily's value.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a data-driven sales pipeline with clear forecasting and deal hygiene using CRM best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years in enterprise/B2B SaaS or fintech sales, with success in strategic deals within complex organizations.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of payments, Open Banking, or embedded finance. Experience selling to PSPs, banks, or lenders is highly desirable.
  • Sales Excellence: Proven track record of exceeding quotas in new business roles; comfortable operating independently and with ambiguity.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to map accounts, develop tailored value propositions, and align offerings with client goals.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, mentoring others and contributing to broader strategies.

Location & Travel:

Based in London with hybrid working; occasional travel within the UK and Europe may be required.
