The Role

As the Director, Senior SAP Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales of transformational SAP services and securing recurring annual managed services business with new and existing clients.

This role involves strategic sales planning, business development, customer relationship management, and ensuring successful customer outcomes across specific accounts or regions.

The Senior SAP Sales Specialist will collaborate with senior executives, customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and growth, working closely with country sales teams and consulting delivery managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and expand SAP offerings, including solutions from ECC to SAP’s S/4HANA RISE.
  • Customer Management: Serve as the main contact for key customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Customer engagements: Understand customer challenges, develop innovative SAP solutions, and manage RFPs, RFIs, and proposals.
  • Financial acumen: Oversee financial planning for proposals, ensuring profitable delivery, budgeting, and revenue targets.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure successful signing and delivery of SAP services.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure positive client outcomes and business success.

Who You Are

You have proven experience, a growth mindset, customer focus, and inclusivity. You should have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in business, IT, or related field.
  • Sales Experience: 10+ years in SAP sales, managing large projects for at least 5 years.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP platforms and solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE, BTP, Ariba, MDG.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of financials, business development, and market trends.
  • Customer Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, capable of engaging C-suite audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills for data-driven decisions and process improvements.

Preferred skills include SAP integrations, multi-cloud development, industry-specific SAP knowledge, and familiarity with SAP's Activate Methodology.
