Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm, seeks Director-level Project Controls specialists to deliver across major infrastructure programmes in the UK. Roles suit experts with proven backgrounds in rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence.

You will lead end-to-end control services, manage risk, schedule and cost, mentor a team, and partner with senior stakeholders to meet time, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree and management qualifications.
• Experience in planning & scheduling, cost management.
• Experience in risk management, change control information management and reporting on complex projects.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project controls services end to end for large, complex and mega projects.
• Monitor performance using KPI’s to drive improvements.
• Lead multiple project controls functions (risk, schedule, cost, change).
• Influence senior stakeholders to improve performance.
• Act as the day-to-day interface to ensure client objectives are met within time and cost targets.
• Support the centre of expertise in developing PMO project controls services.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards, on time and to budget.
