Job summary

NSNP seeks a collaborative leader to design, implement, and evaluate after-school and summer youth programs. The role oversees the youth program team, partnerships, and budgets, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and engaging youth and families.

The successful candidate will lead program design, support instructors, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with the Executive Director to advance mission-driven youth development and cultural education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services; Master’s preferred.
• At least three (3) years experience working with youth in high-need communities.
• Experience with youth and program development, implementation and scaling.
• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for design, implementation, and evaluation of after-school and summer programs.
• Recruit, supervise, and support instructors and teaching artists; teach classes as needed.
• Manage program budgets and track expenses; maintain records.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using a logic model and related tools.
• Foster relationships with community partners and funders; ensure compliance with funder requirements.
• Coordinate with Youth & Family Services Manager on recruitment, retention, and compliance.
• Prepare required reporting for funders and Executive Director.
