Job summary

Mearley Veterinary Group, part of the UK's leading vet care provider, seeks an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to become Director of Practice and Clinical Services. Lead clinical governance, drive patient care standards, and support sustainable commercial success while maintaining a clinical caseload across three sites.

You will oversee operations, mentor colleagues, and partner with leadership to realise the group's clinical vision and strategy.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility).
• Strong experience in small animal first opinion practice.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership across three practices.
• Set and deliver the clinical vision in line with strategy and values.
• Oversee governance, quality improvement and performance.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload while supporting staff.
• Deliver management support across three sites.
