Job summary

WTW in the UK Property & Casualty Consulting Practice seeks a Director to shape underwriting strategy and portfolio management for commercial and specialty insurance. You will partner with senior executives to deliver transformation, analytics and technology-enabled decisions.

You’ll lead large programmes, develop client propositions, mentor teams and expand WTW's market presence through thought leadership and collaborative delivery across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial and/or specialty underwriting experience.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives.
• Experience leading complex programmes including digital transformation and underwriting optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale underwriting transformation and operating model programmes for commercial and specialty insurers, ensuring delivery of strategic outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives on underwriting strategy and portfolio performance.
• Drive data-driven underwriting and digital decision-making capabilities to improve risk selection and efficiency.
• Develop client relationships and identify new consulting opportunities to support revenue growth.
• Lead development of underwriting consulting propositions, intellectual capital and market insights.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions across consulting, analytics and technology.
• Coach and develop colleagues, fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment.
