L&C Mortgages is seeking an exceptional Director of Technology Services to lead the technology services, platforms and operations that power our growth in the UK. You will shape the future of our technology estate and nurture high-performing teams across service operations, platform engineering and workplace technology.

You will drive cloud and platform modernisation, champion DevOps and automation, manage suppliers and govern risk, ensuring secure, resilient and scalable services for colleagues

• Significant leadership experience in technology services or infrastructure.
• Proven success in cloud, platform engineering or technology operations.
• Strong understanding of modern operating models and DevOps practices.
• Experience driving service improvement and transformational initiatives.

We're looking for an exceptional technology leader to join us as Director of Technology Services.

This is a highly influential leadership role responsible for ensuring our technology services, platforms and operational capabilities are secure, resilient, scalable and ready to support our ambitious growth plans. You'll lead experienced teams across technology services, platform engineering and service operations while helping shape the future direction of our technology estate.

What you’ll bring

• Significant leadership experience within technology services or infrastructure organisations
• Proven success leading cloud, platform engineering or technology operations functions
• Strong understanding of modern technology operating models and DevOps practices
• Experience driving service improvement, technology transformation and operational excellence
• Strong commercial awareness and supplier management expertise
• Knowledge of technology risk, resilience and cybersecurity principles
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills

FCA Certification Regime & Conduct Rules

L&C is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is classified as an Enhanced Firm under the Senior Manager’s and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role is subject to the 6 FCA Conduct rules and you will be expected to adhere to them at all times. (See below). Any confirmed breaches of the Conduct Rules will be reported to the FCA annually. Should you apply for a Certified role in another financial services firm then L&C may be required to disclose this information in a Regulatory Reference request.
