You will partner closely with senior technical leaders, Architects and Engineers to help drive strategic growth with existing and future clients, push forward our architectural initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing technological capabilities.The role requires a strong background in solution architecture, software development, client engagement, technology consulting and stakeholder management.Our Solution Architects must have the ability to engage in opening discussions, identify technology needs, recommend the right technology choices and deliver cutting edge solutions.We operate a flexible work environment made up of home working, office-based team collaboration and client site interaction mainly in the London area.ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of Architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals, to solution \"go-live”, across different industry sectors depending on where the core client demand is coming fromTake an active role in aligning closely with EPAM’s wider leadership teams to help shape the business/technology/strategic direction and footprint across client projects with varying degrees of maturityUse your experience as a hands-on technologist to demonstrate strong credibility working with engineering teams up to CxO level both in EPAM and within our clientsDirect our technology consultancy efforts in both sales/pre-sales pursuits, create and present architecture proposals and proof-of-concepts as requiredProvide consulting services covering areas such as architectural review, audit, similar or strong relevant work experienceIndustry visionary, avid technologist at heart and a senior proven leader who can drive a Solution Architecture and Technology Consulting capability in a large consulting organisationProven experience acting as a hands-on Senior/Lead/Chief Architect, Director of Architecture/Technology Consulting or CTO with a strong foundation in software development (Java, .Net etc), platform delivery, architecture design, digital transformation and comfortable partnering with teams up to CxO levelGood industry experience, ideally in Banking/Financial Services or Insurance with excellent understanding of major functional capabilities and common platform solutions across those sectorsExperience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP), decentralised systems, and AI—particularly in the practical application of large language modelsStrong experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and delivering technology streams for large scale complex transformation projects whilst being able to help clients make the right technology choices for the ultimate success of their businessExcellent client-facing onsite experience with the ability to influence and guide senior management on technical solutions combined with a consultative, problem-solving approachAble to think outside the box, drive end-to-end initiatives and engagements, understand the complexity and relative timeframes of creating a roadmap for replacing a core capability in a global multinational organisationPre-sales experience with the ability to act in an advisory capacity to senior level client management whilst executing and leading on rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentationsWell-versed in development of Enterprise and Solution Architecture, including governance, business
