Job summary

You will guide engineering managers, balance delivery with platform quality, and partner with Security, Privacy and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in software engineering.
- 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
- Track record delivering complex software across multiple teams.
- Strong fluency in distributed systems, cloud services and modern architecture.
- Experience building secure, reliable systems with high availability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop multiple software engineering teams, setting clear expectations for technical quality, delivery and team performance.
- Define roadmaps with Product and Design and manage trade-offs between new capabilities, platform improvements and debt.
- Guide architecture and system design decisions across your area and mentor engineers.
- Build practices for testing, CI/CD, observability and deployment confidence.
- Own the operational health of services and drive improvements from incidents and feedback.
- Hire, coach and develop engineering managers and engineers; address performance clearly.
- Collaborate across the company to deliver integrated experiences and resolve dependencies.
- Embed customer and regulatory requirements into engineering decisions.
- Communicate progress, risks and trade-offs clearly.
