Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Signal Detection Scientist to lead the implementation of surveillance strategies for proactive detection of safety signals across complex pharmaceutical programs. This role drives independent, high-impact analyses and engages with multiple stakeholders to shape safety decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead signal detection activities and assess new safety signals and trends for complex/innovative products using company safety platforms through systematic reviews of safety data.
• Lead signal validation activities including strategy discussions, collaborating with Global Safety Strategy & Risk Management (GSSRM) and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Prepare high-quality reviews of topics and summary analyses of safety data and communicate findings to Medical Safety Officers and Safety Management Teams with recommendations.
• Provide guidance to key customers and business partners in developing and implementing product-specific surveillance plans.
• Demonstrate leadership in SMT and cross-functional forums, supporting SMT activities and reviewing key regulatory or clinical documents.
