Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an Associate Director, Safety Analysis Scientist in High Wycombe. This hybrid role requires on-site work three days per week, leading safety evaluations, data reviews, and regulatory documentation with a cross-functional team across Global Medical Safety.

You will manage complex reports, mentor team members, and influence safety strategy with minimal guidance while ensuring high-quality outputs for marketed products and development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare-related or Biomedical Science required or equivalent.
• Advanced degree preferred with substantial industry experience.
• Medical writing or Pharmacovigilance experience required.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional matrix.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety evaluations including strategy discussions, data retrieval, analysis, report writing and revisions.
• Ensure high quality safety evaluations and reports with minimal comments/revisions.
• Provide input and review of key regulatory or clinical documents as appropriate.
• Demonstrate leadership within SMT and support the MSO.
• Lead cross-functional training and act as SME for audits/inspections.
