Job summary

The White Horse Federation is seeking an impactful education leader to drive school improvement across its primary schools, including Southwold Primary School. You will provide strategic direction and on‑the‑ground support to headteachers and senior leaders to raise pupil outcomes.

With a track record of improving schools and challenging underperformance, you will influence curriculum quality, teaching and inclusion while building leadership capacity and ensuring readiness for inspections across

Qualifications

• Headteacher or equivalent with proven improvement of schools.
• Experience supporting schools facing challenge or underperformance.
• Deep understanding of Ofsted, curriculum quality, teaching and inclusion.
• Ability to analyse data, evaluate impact and drive rapid improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to challenge at senior level.
• Commitment to collaboration and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the primary improvement strategy across schools.
• Conduct and lead rigorous school reviews evaluating teaching, curriculum, leadership and outcomes.
• Provide robust challenge and expert support to headteachers and senior leaders.
• Drive excellence in curriculum design, teaching, assessment, early reading and inclusion.
• Strengthen leadership capacity and support succession planning.
• Ensure schools are inspection-ready and provide assurance to Trustees.
