Job summary

Elsevier seeks a Director of Learning & Performance to design and evolve a global Sales and Customer Success learning curriculum that drives commercial growth. You will lead a specialist team, embed learning into daily workflows, and align priorities with business strategy at a global scale.

The global Learning & Performance team at Elsevier is a specialist sales enablement function focused on improving the effectiveness, capability, and long-term performance of its commercial organisation. The team partners closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to design and deliver high-quality training, coaching, and learning programmes that build skills, drive behaviour change, and strengthen customer engagement. Its approach goes beyond traditional training, combining modern learning methods, data-driven insights, and scalable tools to embed sales methodologies and ensure learning translates into measurable performance outcomes across a global go-to-market community.

About the Role
