About the Role

The Director of Safety & Security is responsible for implementing safety and security measures for guests and staff. You will develop, oversee policies and procedures, and act as the primary contact for licensing, police, and investigations. You will work strategically to ensure a safe environment while maintaining an excellent guest experience.

  • Oversee security department operations, ensuring physical security and licensing compliance
  • Ensure adherence to corporate loss prevention and security management guidelines
  • Lead daily security operations, ensuring safety for all members, staff, and property
  • Promote a safety and security culture, developing an effective security team
  • Manage security incidents, investigations, and safety incidents as needed
  • Update security policies, procedures, and risk assessments annually
  • Develop security plans and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain relationships with police, licensing authorities, and noise enforcement officers
  • Oversee CCTV and alarm system maintenance contracts with the Engineering Director
  • Design and deliver training on licensing, incident management, conflict resolution, and responsible alcohol service

About you

  • You hold an SIA license and level 3 fire certification
  • At least 5 years of security leadership experience in a luxury environment
  • You are proactive, strategic, and quick-thinking
  • You value collaboration and team cohesion
  • Experience as part of a pre-opening team is preferred
  • You embody Rosewood’s core values and demonstrate passion for the industry
