Job summary

The Orpheus Centre in Godstone, Surrey, is seeking a Head of Quality & Compliance to join the Senior Management Team. You will lead the organisation’s quality assurance, regulatory compliance, risk management and housing compliance functions, shaping frameworks that support education, care and supported housing services.

Reporting to the COO, you will advise the Board, drive audits and inspections, ensure data governance and UK GDPR compliance, and translate complex regulations into practical

Qualifications

• Significant experience in quality assurance, compliance or governance.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and improvement programmes.
• Knowledge of housing-related regulation and safeguarding.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience advising senior leaders and boards on compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Manage risk governance and information governance.
• Develop policy and organisational compliance frameworks.
• Provide reporting to senior leaders and trustees.
• Advise on data protection, UK GDPR and safeguarding.
