Reed is exclusively recruiting on behalf of one of the largest providers of affordable housing in the UK for a Regional Director of Project Management. This pivotal role is based in Manchester and offers a competitive salary package.

Salary: £88k - £107k plus £5k car allowance

Location: Manchester

Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Oversee Project Management, Design Management, Cost Planning, and integration of these elements to convert development briefs into de-risked, deliverable projects.
2. Ensure all projects adhere to approved commercial assessments, budgets, timelines, and planning requirements.
3. Manage the regional project management team, collate regional reports, and monitor KPIs.
4. Provide leadership in governance and delivery of programs, ensuring they meet outcomes through effective risk and issue management.
5. Approve project plans, ensuring compliance with the organisation's project management framework and governance structures.
6. Lead negotiations and manage annual and long-term project resource budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Chartered Member of RICS, CIOB, or other relevant professional body.
• Extensive experience with a contractor, developer, housebuilder, or consultant in pre-construction activities across procurement types with scheme values averaging £50m to £200m.
• Proficient in commercial procurement, contract, supply chain, and third-party management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of real-time reporting and programming activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage internal and external teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
