A Director of People is normally expected to own the people function end to end: hiring plans, performance and development, employee relations, and the policies and processes that keep a growing company running well. A strong candidate brings prior people leadership in a scaling tech or life sciences setting, sound judgement on sensitive matters, and the ability to set priorities and deliver them with a small team. At a company building AI tools for life sciences research, that means supporting specialist technical and scientific staff.
