CS UK Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Director of Operations to take strategic responsibility for support services and join the Executive Team. The role leads autism and adult social care services across the North West, driving transformation and ensuring high-quality, person-centred support.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, performance, and safeguarding while building strong relationships with commissioners and regulators to support service development and growth.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in autism or learning disability services.
• Proven track record leading multiple services or a large geographic portfolio.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, person-centred care and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in strategic planning, service transformation and organisational development.
• Financial management skills including budgeting, resource allocation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across autism and adult social care services.
• Develop and deliver the operational strategy to meet long-term objectives.
• Assume executive accountability for quality, performance and safeguarding.
• Oversee budgets and resources to maintain service financial sustainability.
• Drive service transformation and continuous improvement.
• Lead senior management teams and promote accountability and leadership.
• Strengthen relationships with commissioners, authorities and regulators.
• Identify growth opportunities, occupancy improvements and service expansion.
• Offer strategic operational insights to the executive team.
