Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Manager for Medical Imaging to lead transformation, ensure safe, efficient and high-quality care across Colchester, Ipswich and Clacton. You will oversee performance metrics, financial stewardship and engagement with Clinical Delivery Group leadership to drive service improvements.

The role requires strong NHS management experience, capacity planning and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of working in a management/leadership role.
• Experience of managing, leading and motivating a team.
• Leading service changes to improve performance.
• Leading projects and business case development.
• Budget setting and financial management.
• Interpreting national policy and implementing changes.
• Longer term planning and capacity/demand modelling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all performance metrics and KPI targets (Quality, Operational and Financial).
• Develop improvement plans with service leaders and clinicians.
• Involve in business case planning for the division.
• Demonstrate sustainable change management and national performance standards.
