Job summary

Dimplex in the United Kingdom is seeking a production leader to drive end-to-end manufacturing performance. You will oversee production operations, improve efficiency, and ensure resources are used effectively to meet business objectives.

The role focuses on designing processes, implementing improvements, leading a high-performing team, and embedding a safety-first culture across the plant. Strong background in production management, KPI tracking, budgeting, and change leadership is essential

Qualifications

• University degree in management, engineering, technology or related field.
• Relevant experience in production management.
• Strong understanding of production processes and their optimisation.
• Ability to understand production KPIs, costs, budgets and the impact of business decisions on results.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop people and managers and drive results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing production strategy, objectives and priorities.
• Managing key production KPIs, ensuring production plan execution, analysing results and initiating improvement actions
• Coordinating the activities of production department managers, setting objectives and monitoring performance
• Improving production efficiency and productivity, ensuring optimal use of people and other resources
• Managing the production budget, controlling costs and initiating cost reduction initiatives
